How we document your child’s learning
Chatterbox uses many processes to capture and record meaningful information about each child’s strengths, interests, relationships and learning.
These processes include photos, written observations, work samples and family input sheets. This information is used to identify children’s understandings and skills and plan for and assess learning experiences and is part of an ongoing cycle of planning, documentation and assessment.
Children’s Learning is displayed throughout the room for families to see and we encourage you to take the time to view this documentation as often as possible. Each child also has a portfolio which documents their learning which you are welcome to view at any time. This portfolio will be given to your family at the end of every year and becomes a keepsake for your child and family to cherish.
